Ep 112: Kaarel Kuddu
On product scaling & testing, mental health, signals of burnout, pressures of being founder vs early employee and ability to say no
Kaarel Kuddu is a Product director at Wise. Kaarel has a long history in IT with over 10 years of experience and has participated in some of the biggest IT projects in Estonia. He spent 6 years at Wise Grew from Product Lead there to VP of Product. He then quit to start his own company, a mental health app which he then decided to close down after a year, because it was not having a significant enough impact on its users mental health. As Kaarel told - it is not so easy to make an impact on that via app, and we discuss that more on the episode. Now Kaarel has returned to Wise and is making sure your money is transferred across borders with low fees.
